ok my mom was a hairstyler but then she quit a couple of years ago. she still does my hair, im almost 13 and i like have pretty light blonde hair, she highlighted it like 2 months ago, but i has already come out, and my hair is dirty blonde... she probably wont let me get it highlighted again until christmas, and right now my hair is dirty blonde. how can i convince her that it doesnt look good??

See if you want your mom to highlight your hair then say, " mom you can totally see my roots! I need to have them redone! You see I was at school %26amp; like 5 pp told me that I need to touch up my highlights! I really am tired of people telling my hair needs to get redone! PLEASE redo it mom.... I promise if you do it extra blonge I won't have it done till x-mas!" hearing this she(since she was in hair %26amp; heard this from her customers) may just redo your hair!

wow, you are young like me when I first got my hair highlighted. I was 12 or 13. When I tell people that now, -- they flip. Anyhow, only thing you can do is beg and plead---and hope she sees your point.

By the way, when I started doing my hair @ 12, I did it myself and didn't even tell my mom I was going to do it. She was not happy but there was nothing she could do -- what was done, was done.. ya know? I suggest you don't do that , though. I didn't know what I was doing and the color was super ugly LOL.
